MONDELEZ has expanded its Cadbury Fingers range with the roll out of a new Bournville variant.
Cadbury Bournville Fingers is available in 114g packs priced at £1.50 RRP. The new dark chocolate variant has launched in a case size of 20.
Mondelez is supporting the launch of Cadbury Bournville Fingers with a marketing campaign which includes advertising activity across cinema and TV, as well as social media and digital activity. The confectionery giant reckons its campaign will reach 94% of UK adults.
The launch of Cadbury Bournville Fingers is the latest in a line of NPD for the brand. Earlier this year, Cadbury Bournville was launched in a sharing bag format for the first time with the roll out of Bournville Giant Buttons and Mondelez also brought back classic variant Cadbury Bournville Old Jamaica.
Katie Dade, senior brand manager for Cadbury Bournville at Mondelez said: “Cadbury Fingers are eaten by a third of Brits. Combining this much-loved product with a nostalgic brand like Bournville to create Cadbury Bournville Fingers will be an exciting launch for retailers and consumers alike.
“With consumers continuing to spend more nights in at home, we have seen an increase in shoppers looking for the perfect treat to share with others in their households. In particular, consumers are looking for products from trusted brands, such as Cadbury and Bournville, which deliver on both quality and taste, in a range of formats.”
