The range is now available in a £1 PMP format, available through impulse and wholesale channels. Each pack also contains a code to unlock a meal voucher at participating restaurants.
Limited edition flavours in the £1 PMP range include: Classic Cheeseburger, inspired by Gourmet Burger Kitchen; Peri-Peri Chicken, inspired by Nando’s; American Hot Pizza, inspired by Pizza Express; and Katsu Curry, inspired by Yo!. All four are available in an 50g pack, RRP £0.85; £1 PMP; and five multi-pack, RRP £1.
Fernando Kahane, marketing director for Walkers Snacks at PepsiCo. said: “Households have been shopping very differently since the start of lockdown we’ve seen greater demand for larger packs over single serve formats. Our Taste Icons range has proved very popular with shoppers since its initial launch in March but in order to fully meet the shift in shopper behaviour, we’re expanding the range to offer even greater choice.”
