CHICAGO Town pizzas have long been a staple of the frozen category – but now they will also be available in the chiller.
The new Chicago Town Deli Crust range comes in three flavours: Cheeeese Fest, Straight Up Salami and Chicago Hot (RRP £5).
Brand owner Dr. Oetker said it had identified a gap in the market for chilled American-style pizza, with a “significant lack of brands in prepacked chilled pizza.”
Paula Wyatt, head of marketing at Dr. Oetker, said that the pizzas would allow the brand to reach new consumers.
