PLANT-based products aren’t going anywhere fast, with more and more consumers picking up vegan or vegetarian alternatives while snacking.
In a bid to tap into this demand, Paterson’s has made its first foray into the vegan snack market with the launch of Fruity & Filling Oat Bars.
Handmade in Scotland with real fruit pieces, the vegan-friendly oat bars contain less than 2.5% saturated fat per bar and only 170 calories.
The bars should also appeal to consumers who are concerned about their environmental footprint, as they are palm oil-free.
Jonathan Guild, brand manager at Paterson’s said: “Here at Paterson’s we have a long history of delivering tradition with a twist and our Oat Bars do exactly that – a delicious vegan friendly and palm oil free snack, which are high in fibre and low in saturated fats.”
“In a time pressured and busy world, consumer demand for new individually wrapped snack bars continues to grow, and Paterson’s Oat Bars are the ideal solution, delivering quality, provenance and environmental sustainability.
“We love our new Oat Bars and we can’t wait to share these delicious treats with the nation.”
Paterson’s Fruity & Filling Oat Bars come in a Raspberry & Apple and Blueberry & Cranberry variety, with an RRP of £1 per bar.
