Discounter Lidl has confirmed its new distribution centre at Eurocentral will be fully operational by November 2019.
The 58,500 square foot facility is Lidl’s largest in Great Britain to date and is expected to support further growth for the discounter in Scotland. Lidl is currently on course to open its 100th Scottish store by early 2020.
Ross Millar, Scotland regional director for Lidl said: “Our investment in this new warehouse underlines our long-term commitment to Scotland, which will help to ensure that Lidl stores from Kirkwall to Stranraer are always stocked.”
