TAIN-based Balblair distillery has unveiled a series of four new age-statement whiskies, set to replace all existing Balblair expressions.
The core range will comprise of a 12-Year-Old, 15-Year-Old, 18-Year-Old and 25-Year-Old, which were all initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks.
The launch of the new collection signals a move away from Balblair’s current ‘vintage-only’ approach.
Matthew Jamieson, brand manager for Balblair, said: “Our whisky isn’t changing: Balblair will always be a single malt Scotch whisky of premium quality, with a true Highland strength of character.
“We’re immensely proud of our new collection and confident that the flavour profiles will reinvigorate Balblair.”
