FUEL economy was the name of the game at the Layer Marney Cup, with sponsor Gulf showing off the efficiency of its Gulf Endurance petrol.
Former World Championship rally driver and team manager Andy Dawson was the victor on the day, achieving fuel consumption of 123.77 miles per gallon over an 80 mile route through Essex and Suffolk in a Ford Mondeo hybrid.
Event organiser Sheila Charrington said: “My thanks go to all competitors and officials who helped us make the event a success and for Gulf who continue to support this event with fuel and prizes.”
