TOILET tissue just got a bit smaller on the shelf according to Andrex, as the brand has rolled out a new compressed version of its Classic Clean variant.
Andrex Classic Clean Compressed is available in a 16-roll format which is said to be 25% smaller than previous pack sizes thanks to compression of the rolls.
For consumers, the compressed roll can be used as normal, according to Andrex, by squeezing each roll to reshape.
A spokesman for Andrex said Andrex Classic Clean Compressed provides a solution for customers with space at a premium and permits larger pack purchasing.
“Andrex Classic Clean Compressed offers a great space-saving opportunity; allowing space-conscious consumers and families to purchase a larger pack size.
“Compressed also offers retailers effective utilisation of their shelf space; with the pack being dual-faced, it can be merchandised to be either front-facing, or side-facing,” he said.
The roll-out of Andrex Compressed follows the launch of the brand’s flushable moist toilet tissue across all channels.
