Meat free makes case on the TV

MEAT-free chilled brand Quorn continues to spend big on television support for its range of take home and on-the-go products, with the firm claiming its snack range creates a real sales opportunity for convenience retailers.

Quorn’s range of on-the-go snacking products includes meat-free sausage rolls, savoury eggs and cocktail sausages, which the firm said are the top three sellers in its range.

Julian Cooke, head of UK category management at Quorn, said the brand is “the biggest media-spending brand in the chilled sector”, appearing on television for 49 weeks of the year. “We’re generating highest ever level of awareness and demand amongst consumers who want to eat Quorn on the move,” she said.
