Three no longer the magic number

Rustlers

CHANGING lifestyles have seen three meals a day replaced by snacks and smaller meals according to Kepak Convenience Foods.
And channel director Angela Daulby says that trend is set to continue.
She said: “Kepak is accelerating the growth of the £121m micro-snacking market with heavyweight support for Rustlers top-selling SKUs within convenience all price-marked at £1.99.“
Kepak says research shows that more than one in three c-store shoppers say price-marked packs are highly influential to their purchases.
“For retailers looking to introduce hot food to their store, the Rustlers branded Hot Food-To-Go Microwave Unit has been shown to boost sales by 200%,” Daulby said.
“To maximise visibility, it is supported with POS that communicates to shoppers that they can heat up the products.”
