THE Daily Deli range from Spar UK is expanding with the addition of two new mini savoury snacks designed to meet demand for portion-controlled on-the-go snacks.
The hard-boiled eggs pack has an RRP of £1 for 100g and the Chicken Satay pack, with sweet chilli dip, is RRP £1.20 for 55g.
Spar UK brand director Susan Darbyshire said the new mini products have been specifically created to meet increasing shopper demand for snacking and grazing products.
“We know that on average, food-to-go shoppers visit a store two to three times per week and spend £411 per year,” she said.
“We also know that only 53% of chilled food bought at lunchtime is sandwiches, wraps and subs, leaving a huge 47% of sales to be spent on items like savoury snacks.
“Spar’s increased range of Daily Deli products will now help satisfy shoppers’ daily lunchtime and food-to-go needs, better than ever.”
