Spar UK is out to add some value consumers shopping in the wine section with the launch of its own-label wine selection, featuring a trio of variants.

UK-WIDE symbol group Spar UK has introduced a new line of value own-label wines, kicking off with a collection of three options.

Available in Spar stores from 23 May across the whole of the UK, the new wines include A Drop of Red, A Sip of White and A Splash of Rosé, with each variant represented by an animal mascot on the bottle. White features Reginald the Dog, White has Croxanne the Crocodile and Rosé includes Phil-Mingo the Flamingo.

Spar reckons with each critter seen on bottle, the new range will remain a memorable option for consumers seeking a well-valued option in wine for the night in.

The range has been developed by master of wine Philippa Carr, who selected the trio after an extensive research period.

Carr said: “Every step of the winemaking process has been meticulously overseen to ensure great quality and taste.

“I selected the new SPAR own label wine collection with the aim to provide wine lovers with exceptional value, making them the perfect choice for everyday enjoyment.

“With SPAR’s seal of excellence, shoppers can trust that every bottle delivers an outstanding experience.”

Each wine has an ABV of 10.5% with a good for value RRP of ÂŁ4.99 per bottle. The launch is also set to be supported with a raft of in-store POS materials as well as responsible age-verified social media and digital activity.
