Retailer group wants your NLW info

THE Association of Convenience Stores has launched its 2016 National Living Wage and Minimum Wage survey as part of its work to gather evidence for its submission to the Low Pay Commission. The Commission has to consider the impact of the introduction of the £7.20 rate for staff aged 25 and over in April this year and review plans to increase the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage every year through to 2020.
ACS says retailers in the UK face three rises in employment costs over the space of 12 months. The National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage are set to align timetables in April 2017 after separate rises in the respective rates in April and October this year.
The organisation says the survey will take only a few minutes of a retailer’s time and it wants local shop owners and operators to complete it online at:
