MORE than a third of the 150 exhibitors at Scotland’s Speciality Food Show in January will be exhibiting at the show for the first time.
And some will be showing their products in public for the first time.
Some of the country’s most established food companies and distributors will also be taking part.
A spokesperson said: “This year’s line up includes the new Luss Smokehouse, The Very Lovely Sauce Company with its range of caramel sauces, The Auchtermuchty Cake Company, Angus and Oink’s rubs and marinades, all with exciting products.”
There will also be an active seminar and tasting theatre with talks and events on all aspects of retailing and awards.
The show, run in conjunction with Scotland’s Trade Fairs, will be at the SECC in Glasgow from 24 to 26 January.
Alex Evans of Westmorland Farm Shops said: “This show has such a vibrant food and drink offer.
“I am always particularly impressed with the number of start-up businesses and unique Scottish products.
“Specialist Scottish food has come a long way in the last few years.”
