Gift packs regularly appear ahead of the festive season, but as 2015 draws to a close the limited editions have been joined on the shelves by a number of brands that have been given more long-term makeovers.
Among the pre-festive launches, White & Mackay has released a range of Jura single malt gift tins.
Created for the full range including Origin, Superstition, Diurachs’ Own and Prophecy, the four tins have been designed to reflect the rural landscape of the brand’s island home. Whyte & Mackay off-trade sales director Stephen Watt said: “We believe our new limited-edition packs will give the brand greater on-shelf prominence.”
Among the more permanent packs is the newly designed bottle and carton for Chivas Regal 12 Year Old.
The bottle shape and label have been given a new look which Chivas says reflects the craftsmanship, luxury and heritage of the brand.
Head of marketing for dark spirits at brand owner Pernod Ricard Vicky Hoey said: “Following extensive consumer research, we are excited to present a new modern look for Chivas 12 Year Old.”
The Stolichnaya Vodka bottle has changed shape for the first time since its inception in 1938. Marketing Director Lars Vestbirk said: “Stoli has a long and proud history of vodka distilling. Our vision with the new packaging is to reflect what’s inside the bottle and the brand’s substance and heritage.”
CEO Rob Cullins said: “It’s the time to make a new bold statement.”
