PRIMULA Cheese and the charity Make-A-Wish UK want more kids dealing with serious illness to come up smiling.
The brand is working with Make-A-Wish to raise money to make more children with life-threatening conditions smile this year by helping them have their special wishes granted.
Through October and November, Primula is donating 20% of the profits from sales of its special ‘Just Say Cheese’ tubes to Make-A-Wish.
Make-A-Wish UK says positive feelings give affected children and their families the strength to get through incredibly difficult times.
One example is 10 year-old football fan Jack Thomson from Edinburgh, who was diagnosed with Stevens Johnson Syndrome, had to spend a month in hospital and was put in an induced coma. Make-A-Wish UK arranged for him to meet his hero Lionel Messi in Barcelona.
16 year-old Brandon Bell from Airdrie fell in love with American Football when he saw the Jacksonville Jaguars play while he was being treated for a Craniopharyngioma brain tumour in Florida. He was honorary captain at the Jacksonville Jaguars versus San Francisco 49ers game at Wembley.
