Ahead of the festive and party season Gallo-owned Californian brand Barefoot Wine has launched a range of single-serve sized bottled wines – Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Pink Moscato.
The firm quotes Euromonitor research to say Barefoot is the largest bottled wine brand in the world and it says the new Barefoot Wine single-serve bottles are aimed at consumers who want to have a glass of wine during the week, or wish to grab a wine and go occasions, or who are looking to mix and match wines.
The firm says Barefoot Wine Pinot Grigio and Barefoot Wine Pink Moscato are both number-one selling wines in their segments in the UK. Barefoot Merlot is the best-selling red wine in the Barefoot Wine range in the UK.
Gallo says the 187ml glass bottles of are available now in grocery and convenience channels nationwide.
It suggests placing the new single-serve Barefoot Wine bottles next to other Barefoot wines and also in a drinks chiller cabinet – if a store has one – to be available and ready to drink for on-the-go consumers looking for single-serve bottles.
