RYO accessories supplier Republic Technologies (UK) has unveiled a promotion for Zig-Zag rolling papers, which it says gives millions of fans unprecedented insight into the lives of top musicians.
From May to mid-September, The ‘Zig-Zag Rolling With…’ promotion should reach more than 5m people, generating what the brand-owner says will be Zig-Zag’s highest ever levels of brand awareness.
Rolling With… focuses on two bands, Grammy award-winning La Roux and the Welsh rock band, Catfish and the Bottlemen.
Music fans will be given access through social media to the artists’ life on tour plus behind-the-scenes footage of songs recorded in different locations.
“Zig-Zag likes to originate and this is a first for the RYO sector,” said Eleni Koulara, Republic Technologies (UK) marketing manager.
“We know that roll-your-own fans are heavily into music and are confident that they will relish the chance of getting up close and personal with artists who will be giving them unprecedented access to what life is really like on the road.”
