BUSINESS agent Cornerstone has begun a major expansion programme to take advantage of what it sees as the improving market.
A new website has been launched and the firm has opened a second business sales centre in Glasgow.
And the company, which was co-founded by Derek Burgoyne in 2009, has recruited two experienced business sales directors, David Higgins and Barry McNeill .
Barry McNeil worked with Burgoyne 20 years ago and for the last 10 years has been with a national business sales brokerage, specialising in licensed trade business sales. He also has experience of selling business in the care and retail sectors.
David Higgins’ experience includes owning and managing his own retail business.
Higgins said: “ Cornerstone allows us to offer a range of services which were just not available to me in the past, the business sales team are very experienced and enthusiastic. I am thrilled to be able to offer my clients such a personal and comprehensive business sales service at a cost that is considerably lower than many of our competitors.”
