IMPERIAL Tobacco has launched its roll-your-own tobaccos Golden Virginia Classic and GV Smooth in new 25g packs with cut-corner cigarette papers.
The firm said the RRP would remain the same and would ensure that the “current robust margins are maintained whilst providing further value for the roll-your-own consumer”.
Ryan Hopkins, Golden Virginia senior brand manager said: “Golden Virginia Classic and GV Smooth will continue to be available with papers in handy pack and 50g pack sizes. With POR margins of between 10.9% and 11.9% retailers should ensure they offer the complete range to cater for all their RYO shoppers. This initiative will provide better value to new and existing consumers.”
