STARTING this autumn, Heineken will take over the brewing of Kingfisher beer in the UK. The German giant will also handle the Indian brand’s sales and distribution to selected off-trade retail customers, adding to its portfolio of international drinks.
Kingfisher’s owners, KBE, will continue to take responsibility for overall brand strategy and development of Kingfisher, marketing and promotion of the brand and support for directly supplied trade customers.
In the meantime customers should continue to order Kingfisher through their existing processes and trade contacts.
