Vote opens for Coca-Cola Christmas truck’s next stop

Choose where the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck will visit this year

Drinks giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners has announced that consumers will have the chance to cast their vote on where its annual Christmas Truck will visit this year.

DRINKS giant Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is letting consumers have their say over where the annual Coca-Cola Christmas Truck should visit over the festive period.

Marking the first time that CCEP has put the matter down to a vote, shoppers will be able to vote on where the festive truck will pull into next across the festive season and help to spread a bit of Christmas magic across the UK.

At each confirmed stop along the tour, the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck will roll in beneath a canopy of lighting to help transform each destination into a winter wonderland. The iconic red truck will be available to be used as a backdrop to photos while visitors will also be able to enjoy games and win exclusive Coca-Cola festive merchandise and refresh with ice-cold drinks of Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar or Diet Coke.

To have your say, consumers can vote via the Coca-Cola website now until 3 November to give their location of choice the chance to receive a special visit from the truck across November and December.

To help kick off the campaign, CCEP has enlisted the help of social media star Joe Sugg to get the vote started who has cast his own vote for Corsham and has encouraged people across Great Britain to vote for the town they would most like to see the Truck stop in.

Launching the vote this week, Sugg said: “Christmas feels most special when there is something everyone can enjoy together. I’m excited that people across Great Britain can vote for a town where the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck could add even more festive sparkle – whether that means more things to do, a new reason for friends and families to come together, or simply an unforgettable dose of Christmas magic. Now is the time to get involved and vote for the town you would most like the Truck to visit.”

Rob Yeomans, VP for commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “Christmas is such an important time for our retail and hospitality customers, and the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck has become a much-loved part of the festive season in towns across Great Britain.

“This year, people can help choose where it visits next. With more than a third saying they’d pick a town to help attract more visitors to its centre, it’s a great opportunity to put local high streets in the spotlight and celebrate the businesses at the heart of them. We’d encourage everyone to get involved and vote for their town.”
