Coffee brand NescafĂ© has brought two of NestlĂ©’s beloved confectionery brands to the coffee fixture with its new Lion and KitKat White flavours.

HOUSEHOLD foods firm Nestlé has launched two new products for its Nescafé frothy coffee range taking inspiration from some of its classic confectionery brands.

Rolling out to stores nationwide now, NescafĂ©’s new KitKat White Latte flavour and Lion Mocha Flavour have hit shelves across the UK, tying the coffee brand directly to NestlĂ©’s popular chocolate bars.

NescafĂ© KitKat White Latte flavour looks to combine the brand’s signature wafer biscuit and the sweetness of KitKat White chocolate with NescafĂ©’s coffee blend to deliver a delicious silky latte with a frothy top.

Meanwhile, the NescafĂ© Lion Mocha variant brings the brand signature chocolatey flavour to the brand’s frothy coffee offering and bring fans of the chocolate bar to the coffee fixture.

Speaking on the new products, Ingrid Hayes, marketing director for NescafĂ© UK and Ireland, said: “Our NestlĂ© confectionery-inspired launches have been some of our most successful new product development in recent years, helping us bring hundreds of thousands of new shoppers into the coffee category.

“With KitKat White Latte and Lion Mocha, we’re building on that strong foundation, and with the investment we’ve made in our UK manufacturing, we’re well placed to keep bringing exciting new products to market. We’re looking forward to seeing consumers enjoy these latest additions.”

The two new products have been supported by a significant investment from NestlĂ©, including support for the firm’s manufacturing footprint across the UK.

NestlĂ©’s Dalston factory in Cumbria has recently received a whopping ÂŁ28million in investment to enhance its production capacity and enable the business to deliver more new products and accelerate innovation across the company.

Ian Pipes, Dalston factory manager, said: “The investment last year has enabled advances in manufacturing processes, demonstrating our commitment to UK manufacturing. It’s improved efficiency and increased output, as well as enhancing recyclability.

“Together, these improvements are helping NestlĂ© meet consumer demand while making progress with our sustainability goals.”
