Making breakfast options more accessible

OATS brand Quaker has tapped into an ongoing breakfast trend with the launch of its new Overnight Oats range.
Aiming to deliver a more convenient way for shoppers to enjoy overnight oats options, the new Quaker range combines 100& wholegrain oats, chia seeds and different flavour inclusions in one convenient format.
The range is available on shelves now and comes in a Blueberry flavour or a Mocha Choc Chip option.
Parent firm PepsiCo said it looks to make the process of making overnight oats at home much simpler through the new packs with a new process that only takes four steps to prepare the breakfast on the night before.
Additionally, each pack contains chia seeds, one of the most common ingredients used in overnight oats recipes, and are packed with additional fibre to match leading health trends with consumers.
Each pack is falls under HFSS regulations and comes in a 350g stand-up resealable pouch with an RRP of £3.75.
Danielle Gipson, head of marketing at PepsiCo, said: “Breakfast habits are changing, with shoppers increasingly looking for options that still deliver convenience without compromising on taste and nutrition.
“Overnight oats have become one of the fastest-growing breakfast trends, particularly among younger consumers, yet many people are still put off by the preparation involved.
“Quaker has been helping consumers enjoy oats for generations, and we’re excited to bring that expertise to one of breakfast’s fastest-growing trends.
“By making overnight oats simpler to prepare, we’re not only making the trend more accessible but also bringing new shoppers into the category and creating more occasions for consumers to enjoy oats throughout the year and ultimately helping retailers drive growth within the breakfast category.”
