FAMILY-RUN bakery firm Brownings the Bakers has announced a further expansion of its partnership with Sainsbury’s stores across Scotland with new listings for its range.

Rolling out now across Scottish Sainsbury’s locations, three of Brownings’ bakery products from its scone line are now available in selected stores across the country.

Sainsbury’s shoppers will be able to pick up Brownings Tattie Scones 6-pack, Sultana Oven Scones 4-pack and Cherry Oven Scones 4-pack across selected stores.

The new additions build on the continued success of Brownings across the country and expand on the range available in Sainsbury’s having stocked its morning goods and pie ranges prior.

This also marks the ongoing expansion for Brownings’ range of products across Scotland including its new listings across Asda stores and Co-op locations.

Declan McMahon, managing director at Brownings the Bakers, said: “It’s fantastic to see our relationship with Sainsbury’s continue to grow, bringing more of the Brownings’ range to customers across Scotland.

“Our morning goods and pies ranges have performed well in stores, so it’s great to see that success recognised and to be given the opportunity to expand our range further and build on that partnership.

“Our scones are a great example of what we do, made to traditional recipes and baked to deliver the quality and taste our customers expect from Brownings.

“From our classic tattie scones to our fruit varieties, these are products we’re incredibly proud of, and we’re delighted that even more shoppers will now be able to enjoy them as part of their everyday shop.”
