Pepsi Max announces five year deal with Scottish FA

Soft drinks brand Pepsi Max has announced a new five-year partnership with the Scottish FA as the official soft drinks partner of the men’s and women’s national teams.

SOFT drinks brand Pepsi Max has announced a new five year deal with the Scottish Football Association to be the official soft drinks sponsor of the men’s and women’s national teams.

Running through to 30 July 2030, the partnership represents a new chapter for the brand as parent firm PepsiCo seeks to make Pepsi Max an “unmissable part” of Scottish football culture.

Brendan Napier, commercial director for Scottish Football marketing, said: “It goes without saying that, in Scotland, football is a way of life. In Pepsi MAX, we have a world-renowned partner who recognises that and speaks our language.

“We have a lot to look forward to with our national teams – from now through until 2030, and beyond. This partnership is built for impact. Bringing supporters closer to the Scotland national teams through bold, innovative content and experiences.”

As part of the agreement, Pepsi Max has also secured pourage rights at Barclays Hampden stadium to ensure a presence across both football and major music and entertainment events.

The new partnership will also debut a hero film as part of the campaign which has been shot at Hampden. The creative builds on the brand’s established platform and features comedian Ray Bradshaw as he introduces Pepsi Max into the stadium to mark the partnership alongside Scottish football stars Andy Roberston, Kathleen McGovern and head coach Steve Clarke.

The partnership will come to life through a multi-channel rollout connecting fans to the action through exclusive access and entertainment and building up a connection with the Scottish national’s team dedicated fans in the Tartan Army.
