Bakery giant Finsbury Food Group is bringing the excitement of this summer’s Fifa World Cup to supermarket cake aisles with the launch of limited-edition Scotland Cupcakes.

Created in partnership with the Scottish Football Association, the cupcakes launch on the 1st of June 2026 in Tesco stores nationwide, just as football fever will be reaching full pitch.

The packs feature nine vanilla cupcakes inspired by the iconic team colours of Scotland, capturing the spirit of the Saltire with vibrant blue and white frosting, carefully arranged within the carton to recreate the iconic flag design.

Complete with edible Scotland logos and packaging featuring the legendary Rampant Lion, the pack is a proud celebration of Scottish football spirit.

Designed with sharing in mind, each product serves nine people, weighing 0.42kg per cupcake, and has an RRP of £6.00 per pack.

The launch marks the first time Finsbury Food Group has created cupcakes for a major international football competition – and also sees an exciting new collaboration with the Scottish Football Association.

The launch also adds to the bakery manufacturer’s growing portfolio of football partnerships, which already includes Celtic F.C. and Rangers F.C.
