Welsh spirits firm moves with Tango in RTD category

VODKA brand Au Vodka has announced its new partnership with drinks firm Carlsberg Britvic to roll out a new range of ready-to-drink (RTD) cans with the Tango brand.
Launching nationwide from 14 May, the new collaboration will see the introduction of the new Au Vodka Tango Apple and Au Vodka Tango Orange variants roll out to off-trade shelves across the UK.
Jackson Quinn, co-founder of Au Vodka, said: “This launch combines two brands with strong consumer awareness and gives retailers a product built for familiarity, visibility and high rate of sale.”
Au Vodka’s has used its signature five-times distilled vodka and infused this with the classic soft drinks brand Tango Orange and its tangy Tango Apple flavours to deliver a recognisable RTD for shelves that will stand out amongst the market.
Each 330ml slimline can comes with an ABV of 5% and will be available for a limited time to help to drive up additional sales throughout the key summer months for the RTD market.
The collaboration combines the popularity of the two brands together with Au Vodka’s premium position in the market and Tango’s “high consumer recognition” to deliver a flavour-led beverage that can encourage shoppers to purchase.
Au Vodka has said the new launch comes as the RTD alcohol category continues to see significant growth across the off-trade, driven by consumers seeking out convenient and recognisable brands.
