Nestlé turns bowls pink with Nesquik Strawberry launch

NESTLÉ Cereals has unveiled its new Nesquik Strawberry variant to provide a new flavour for breakfast bowls across the UK.
Available from Morrisons and Sainsbury’s stores in April, with plans for a nationwide rollout in the works, the popular Nesquik milkshake flavour is now available as a cereal for the first time since the brand first launched in the UK in 1957.
The new cereal transforms the nostalgic Nesquik experience into a fresh breakfast option for families and provide a point of difference to the cereal category across shelves.
Furthermore, the new launch can also turn the milk pink, making for more entertainment in the mornings for families with young children.
The new variant also keeps nutritional benefits to the forefront from the range including how wheat is the main ingredient, that the cereal is high in fibre, contains seven vitamins plus iron and has no artificial colours or flavours.
Sarah Fordy, head of marketing for Nestlé Cereals UK, said: “We’re thrilled to introduce this much loved Nesquik flavour to cereal for the very first time, building on more than 60 years of Nesquik Strawberry heritage in the UK.
“For families, it brings a new breakfast choice made with whole grains, high in fibre, and enriched with seven vitamins plus iron, all with the fun twist of turning your milk pink.
“Our aim has been to offer even more variety at breakfast while staying true to the playful spirit the Nesquik brand is known for.”
