Firing up with flavour across the crisps section

SNACKS brand Doritos is set to bring a fiery new taste to the shelves with the UK launch of its Flamin’ Hot Nacho Cheese flavour.
The non-HFSS variant looks to introduce a new flavour profile for UK consumers by combining the spicy kick of the Flamin’ Hot range with a rich, cheesy taste.
Parent firm PepsiCo has said the flavour has long been requested by Doritos fans in the UK with it already a major hit with shoppers in America. In its launch year, the variant was ranked as the number one Flamin’ Hot variant and became the biggest first-year flavour launch for the brand, according to Circana data.
Demand for spicy flavours continues to over-index across the UK as well, particularly as younger Gen Z shoppers continue to seek bold and adventurous tastes says PepsiCo.
This has been clearly seen by the runaway success of the Doritos Flamin’ Hot brand, which has generated £20million in sales since its launch in 2024, says Nielsen research.
Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho Cheese is now available nationwide across all channels in 163g sharing bags at RRP £2.50 and 70g PMP RRP £1.35 formats.
Lynn Grant, senior marketing manager at Doritos UK, said: “Flamin’ Hot Nacho Cheese is a flavour fans have been asking us to bring to the UK for years, so we’re delighted to finally make it available to shoppers here. After seeing the huge success the flavour has had in the US, we’re confident it will resonate strongly with UK consumers too.
