Crafting a new selection for the off-trade range

CRAFT beer brand Brooklyn Brewery has turned up the flavour across its range with the introduction of three new brews.
The three limited-edition crafts have each been brewed with a specific character and consumer in mind with the new Bel Air Sour, Fonio Rising Double Pilsner and Black Chocolate Stout brews.
Parent firm Carlsberg Britvic has said the new launches represent the brand’s continued focus on innovation and brewing heritage, with each variant delivering a bold taste and creative energy to the off-trade section.
The new Bel Air Sour delivers a 5% ABV tart and tropical sour ale, ideal for consumers who are seeking a point of different from the ale section in stores. Meanwhile, the Fonio Rising Double Pilsner provides a crisp, golden lager made using the West African Fonio grain, which is renowned for its own unique flavour at an ABV of 6.4%.
Finally, the 8.4% Black Chocolate Stout offers a multi-award winning imperial stout to the off-trade from Brooklyn Brewery with rich notes of cocoa and fresh ground espresso coffee.
Together, the trio offer retailers a compelling opportunity to tap further into the craft beer sector, says Carlsberg Britvic, and appeal to a broad range of preferences within this niche.
All three of the brews come in 440ml cans with RRPs between £3.25 and £4.25.
Anna Cheatley, marketing controller for craft & ale at Carlsberg Britvic, said: “Craft drinkers are constantly exploring – they want distinctive styles and limited products that bring something new to the category.
“These new additions not only reflect the vibrant, creative spirit of Brooklyn, our brand’s namesake borough, but also build on our long-standing craft credentials and brewing expertise of our brewmaster, Garrett Oliver.
“Through bold can designs and distinctive flavours, Bel Air Sour, Fonio Rising Double Pilsner and Black Chocolate Stout are designed to stand out on-shelf, helping retailers to drive sales.”
