Drinking yoghurt brand YOP has unveiled its complete rebrand as parent firm Yoplait looks to build the brand up with its core audience groups.

DAIRY products firm Yoplait has unveiled a complete new look for the YOP range for the first time in over 20 years.

Supported by a six-figure marketing investment, Yoplait said it is keen to generate more stand-out on shelf for the brand and drive appeal with its key consumer audience of teenage and young adults.

The new look comes during a time of popularity for the YOP brand as well. Nielsen data has found a renewed interest in the drinking yoghurt range with a current worth of £10.3million and growing, with value sales up 12% year-on-year and 16% up in volume sales.

A new £600,000 investment into the brand will kick off from April with the new ‘Put a Yop to it’ campaign that aims to resonate with teenagers and young adults by encouraging them to take a moment for themselves and disconnect from the wider stresses of the world.

The disruptive campaign will run across social and digital media to ensure core audiences see it across everyday routines whilst driving footfall to stores through out-of-home advertising. Additionally, there will be in-store shopper campaign options to drive purchase as well as sampling opportunities with bottles set to be handed out across colleges, workplaces, retail head offices and key trade events.

Ewa Moxham, UK head of marketing at Yoplait, said: “Almost 7million bottles of YOP were sold in 2025, and the brand is on the cusp of returning to its immense popularity seen in the early 2000s.

“Now is the time to give the brand a modern refresh to ensure it really pops on-shelf, appeals to teenagers and young adults with an impactful marketing campaign and ensure as many of our consumers try YOP’s unique taste and texture.”
