Gulf works with myAutomate on Fuel Finder compliance

Ensuring UK forecourts are in line with legislation

Gulf Retail has teamed up with myAutomate to provide its retailers with its FuelSense platform to support Fuel Finder compliance with its locations.

GULF Retail has announced it has provided access for its dealer network to the FuelSense platform to ensure its sites are compliant with Fuel Finder requirements.

The pricing and compliance platform, developed by myAutomate, will help ensure that Gulf retailers will remain compliant with price reporting to Fuel Finder and provide real-time competitive price benchmarking and insights.

All of this is also provided through a centralised dashboard tool which displays simplified price management for its forecourt locations.

Under the new UK Fuel Finder scheme, forecourt retailers must submit pump prices within 30 minutes of the change. In recognition of the cost, operational and technical implications that this could have for independent operators, FuelSense with Gulf will allow its dealers to submit price changes to the Fuel Finder scheme.

The move underlines Gulf’s commitment to support its independent retailers through these regulatory changes, according to the firm, by equipping them with data-driven pricing tools.

Gulf said this new platform will enable forecourt retailers to not only comply with the new rules, but allow them to make faster, more informed pricing decisions in a rapidly evolving retail fuel market.
