Stranrear store owner awarded £10,000 from Allwyn

STORE owner of KeyStore Stranrear Dennis Forsyth has pocketed a £10,000 prize as part of Allwyn’s Site, Stock, Sell online quarterly prize draw.
Marking only one of two to receive the top prize, Dennis won for achieving high scores as part of the programme.
The Site, Stock, Sell initiative assesses a National Lottery retailer’s POS materials in store, including their Playstation, Scratchcard dispenser and signage, for their overall “sales driving ability”.
Independent retailers then simply upload images of their POS items across the store to the National Lottery Retailer Hub each month to receive a score out of 10 and to entered into the quarterly prize draw.
Speaking on his winnings, Dennis said: “I didn’t believe it when The National Lottery called, as I usually think it’s going to be bad news when the phone rings!
“But once Allwyn quoted my retailer number, I began to believe it. It’s great news for us, as it means that the newer car we have been looking to buy can now become a reality.
“The National Lottery is a great driver of footfall to our store, which really helps all aspects of my shop sales. I’d encourage any other retailer to enter Allwyn’s £10,000 prize draw – it’s so easy to do.”
In addition to the top two prize winners, a further 20 retailers across the UK received £1,000 including two store owners in Scotland. David, Christopher and Rosemary Love at Premier Early Til Late in Larbet walked away with the £1,000 and a National Lottery retailer in Berwick-Upon-Tweed – who chose to remain anonymous – also scooped up the winning.
If National Lottery retailers haven’t already signed up to the campaign, they can do so via The National Lottery Retailer Hub and find out more about bonus opportunities like this.
Karl Southworth, head of field sales at Allwyn, said: “A huge congratulations to all 22 retailers recognised in this quarter’s Site, Stock, Sell online prize draw, and especially to our two £10,000 winners.
“The standard of entries has been excellent, and it’s fantastic to see so many independent retailers committed to maintaining strong instore execution – from well stocked Scratchcard dispensers to clear, up-to-date POS displays.
“Their hard work plays a vital role in driving National Lottery sales and, in turn, helps us continue raising over £32 million each week for Good Causes. Thank you to our retailers for everything they do to support players and their local communities.”
