Securing the future of business with new hire

DUNDEE-BASED wholesaler CJ Lang & Son has appointed Eoin McGettigan as its new non-executive chair and has succeeded Jim Hepburn, who stood down from the role in December.
McGettigan brings over 35 years of senior experience to the role across retail, wholesale and consumer-facing businesses, including chief executive roles at Musgrave, Budgens-Londis, Co-op Retail and Lifestyle Sports.
Alongside his executive career, Eoin also founded DriveChain in 2008, a consulting interim management firm supporting leading businesses through strategic and operational change.
Eoin succeeds Jim Hepburn who stood down from the role in December 2025 after his tenure came to an end. CJ Lang also extended its thanks to Hepburn for his contribution to the business and wish him every success for the future.
Colin McLean, chief executive at CJ Lang & Son, said: “We are delighted to welcome Eoin to the business. The team at CJ Lang is very much looking forward to working closely with him to help shape and deliver our ongoing transformation programme, ensuring the business remains well positioned for the future.”
