Shortbread maker launches two more bite-sized versions
Walker’s Shortbread is introducing two new additions to its popular Wee Shorties range: Mini Oat Shortbread and Mini Chocolate Chip.
Wee Shorties range launched in 2024 with Mini Fingers and shortbread enthusiasts across the UK can now find the Mini Oat Shortbread and Mini Chocolate Chip Wee Shorties at selected supermarkets, convenience stores, and online through leading grocery retailers.
Wee Shorties are bite-sized versions of Walker’s original shortbread, made using the classic recipe containing just four ingredients: butter, flour, sugar and a pinch of salt. Offering the same mouth-watering, buttery flavour in a convenient, portioned format, Wee Shorties are ideal for lunchboxes, quick snacks, or busy lifestyles, combining Walker’s signature quality with modern consumer needs.
The round Mini Chocolate Chip Wee Shorties bring a rich and indulgent variant to the range, while the new triangular shaped Mini Oat Shortbread Wee Shorties nods to Walker’s heritage through the inclusion of oats, a quintessential Scottish ingredient.

Retailing at a RRP of £2.00, customers can also purchase Wee Shorties Mini Fingers and Mini Chocolate Chip at Waitrose, while Wee Shorties Mini Fingers and Mini Oat Shortbread can be purchased at Sainsbury’s.
