Ambient sauces brand Loyd Grossman has rolled out a new range of premium sauces to mark the brand’s 30th anniversary of trading in the UK.

AMBIENT sauces brand Loyd Grossman has rolled out a new premium range of sauces and is giving consumers the chance to bag a holiday to Italy to mark 30 years in the UK.

The new range and on-pack promotion aims to help retailers to tap into the demand for more restaurant-quality options consumers can enjoy from the comfort of their homes.

Available now form Asda stores, the new tomato-based sauce range includes Pomodoro & Fresh Basil, Tomato & Parmigiano Reggiano and Pomodoro, Mascarpone & Wild Garlic and all three variants have an RRP of £3.25. The trio will also roll out to Sainsbury’s stores from 10 August.

Brand founder Sir Loyd Grossman said: “My premium sauces are crafted with care to reflect my love of the exciting flavour of Italian foods. We cook these sauces in stages to develop layers of flavour from great ingredients like fresh Mediterranean tomatoes and olive oil.

“The result will deliciously and luxuriously accompany any type of pasta, but I hope will also inspire consumers to experiment with other dishes.”

Meanwhile, the on-pack promotion will be seen across the entire Loyd Grossman core range from 28 July in key grocery multiples. To be in with the chance of winning, consumers need to purchase a promotional jar of Loyd Grossman cooking sauce and enter a unique 10-digit code into the brand’s website along with their personal details, an image of the winning jar and the receipt to show proof of purchase.

There are three main prizes up for grabs as part of the promotion which includes a trip for two adults to either Sorrento, Rome or Masseria Corsano in Italy – the unique code will determine the prize location.

Further to this, a fourth prize – another trip to Rome for two people – will also be available for consumers that scan an on-pack QR code or visit the Loyd Grossman website and follow the instructions.

To support the launch, the Loyd Grossman brand will step into the social media space for the first time, with an influencer campaign in September centred around the new sauces.
