900% growth year-on-year for Tailored Spirits

EDINBURGH-BASED whisky maker Tailored Spirits Co. has marked a successful year of business after it secured funding at Scottish Edge 2024.
The firm was awarded £100,000 from Scotland’s biggest business funding competition in 2024 and, since then, has generated a remarkable amount of success.
During the course of a 12 month period, Tailored Spirits launched its first ever bottled whiskies, acquired clients in 14 countries worldwide and celebrated 900% revenue growth in Quarter 1 of this year, up from 2024’s figure of £110,000. This milestone alone secured Tailored Spirits as one of the fastest-growing whisky businesses in the UK.
In just 12 months, the firm acquired global clients from the likes of the UK & Ireland, Europe, South Africa, Asia and the USA, ranging from private cask owners to whisky societies and independent bottlers.
The firm is now set to capitalise on this success further across 2025 through an expansive plan of action. This will include new international strategic partnerships and activations.
Speaking on the firm’s success, Adam Harding, co-founder & director at Tailored Spirits Co., said: “We started our company to take lovers of whisky on a journey and to connect them to industry level expertise on an individual level.
“That journey is exactly what our mission focuses on. To see a client’s face light up at the end of a project is a feeling like no other. That’s because we’ve been with them every step of the way.
“This is one of most prestigious, historic and exciting industries in the world and we feel very lucky to be part of it and don’t take our responsibility to the category and the country lightly.
“We’ve found that connections within Scotch Whisky are often very hospitable and welcoming. The growth of our company stems from our passion and relentless commitment to quality – but also the connections we have made.
“Partnerships from day one have springboarded Tailored Spirits into a globally recognised institution.
“It’s been a pleasant surprise to see the global love of Scotch whisky, even in markets we didn’t expect – we really want our company to bring ‘Scotch whisky to the world and bring those new whisky lovers back to Scotland’ – these global connections help us build strong ties to Scotland from all over the world.”
