New Dairy Milk Iced Latte rolls out alongside Summer Edition range

BELOVED British chocolate brand Cadbury is set to turn up the cool for the summer with the launch of its new Cadbury Dairy Milk Iced Latte flavour.
Available from June, the new bar features a smooth coffee flavour cream with digestive biscuit pieces that has been covered in Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.
The new variant will also roll out alongside a range of Cadbury Dairy Milk Summer Edition bars, a packaging innovation that features four summer-themed designs to reflect the British summer with designs of deck chairs, umbrellas, kites and inflatables on-pack.
Additionally, through the use of thermochromic tech, all of these packs of Cadbury Dairy Milk, including the Iced Latte flavour, feature a wrapper that visually transforms to reveal a deep blue colour when each bar is chilled. Each pack features an image encouraging shoppers to Chill to Reveal the unique design.
Retailer can purchase a mixed case of all four designs for the Summer Edition and consumers are encouraged to seek out all the pack designs.
Parent firm Mondelēz International reckons the new launch will ignite a further debate with consumers around where to store chocolate as we head into summer. Further to this, the firm says it will position chocolate as a firm snacking option throughout the summer months.
This also follows on from Cadbury’s other summer NPD with the roll out of Twirl White Dipped bars.
The Cadbury Dairy Milk Summer Editions come in 110g packs with an RRP of £2. Meanwhile, the Cadbury Dairy Milk Iced Latte variant comes in a 122.5g pack with an RRP of £2.
Mara Popa, junior brand manager for Cadbury Dairy Milk, said: “This summer, Cadbury Dairy Milk is reigniting the debate around storing chocolate in the fridge.
“Our new Cadbury Dairy Milk Summer Editions range features cold-activated packs, reminding consumers that chocolate is a great snacking option in the warmer weather.
“Additionally, our limited-edition Cadbury Dairy Milk Iced Latte tablet is designed to excite consumers with a brand new flavour crafted for summer.
“This NPD also features colour changing packaging, highlighting the chilled chocolate trend in a playful way and tapping into the debate.”
