Alcohol free beer brand revamps for the summer

ALCOHOL-FREE lager brand Days has unveiled a new and improved recipe for its 0.0% Lager in time for the upcoming summer months.
Set to roll out this May, the new formula put to use in Days Lager has been used to preserve the most flavour of the brew whilst removing all of the alcohol.
The new lager has been brewed in the UK and follows an authentic lager brewing process, using stepped fermentation to produce a dry malt body and a long maturation process in tanks to help introduce a depth of flavour.
Made using Bavarian Weihenstephan yeast and Hallertu Hops, the revitalised Days lager uses a revolutionary osmosis process, the most advanced de-alcoholisation process available, which operates at a low temperature to preserve more of the flavour while removing all of the alcohol.
Made to a traditional recipe, Days Lager offers consumers a crisp 0.0% ABV with a biscuity malt and crisp hop bitterness to taste.
The new brew will roll out across Waitrose stores in the UK from May as well as in specialist outlets. Each can contains 33 calories as well, offering a more permissible lager option for the summer.
Duncan Keith, co-founder of Days, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be launching our groundbreaking new Lager this May. Over the past year, we’ve collaborated with some of the most forward-thinking experts in beer to create a brew that meets the evolving expectations of today’s drinkers.
“Crafted here in the UK, our new Days Lager is clean, crisp and indistinguishable from a full-strength beer. It’s also one of the healthiest beers on the market – low in carbs, sugar and calories and 0.0% ABV. Honestly, it’s the beer we’ve been dreaming of brewing since day one.”
