Bringing a healthier boost with zero sugar coffee

CHILLED coffee brand Emmi Caffé Latte has embraced a demand for healthier drinks with its new Caffé Latte Zero variant.
This new ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee option offers consumers a brew that has been made with just coffee and milk with no added sugar or sweeteners.
Aligned with what Emmi calls “consumers’ evolving lifestyle and flavour preferences”, the new Emmi Caffé Latte Zero features 100% hand-roasted Arabica coffee beans that has been blended with fresh, lactose-free Swiss milk and nothing else/
Emmi said the new launch aims to appeal to more wellness-orientated consumers that are seeking high quality, authentic and healthier coffee options, whether this be for in the house or on-the-go.
Along with this, the new drinks have also been designed with sustainability in mind as the entire production and filling process runs on 100% sustainable energy, with the packaging made from 30% recycled materials.
The new Emmi Caffé Latte Zero 230ml variant will be available exclusively from Tesco stores from 3 March with an RRP of £1.85 and will be found alongside the core Emmi drinks range.
And to help attract more consumers to the category, Emmi Caffé Latte will support the launch with an integrated ‘Coffee, Milk and Zero Else’ campaign to drive up the no added sugar nature of the new drink. This will include shopper marketing initiatives, a national sampling tour, event sponsorships and digital advertising.
Georgia Lightbody, brand manager at Emmi Caffé Latte, said: “We’re really excited to introduce Emmi Caffé Latte Zero to health-conscious coffee lovers.
“We already offer a number of great-tasting iced coffee drinks with no added sugar or sweeteners, but the launch of Emmi Caffé Latte Zero taps into consumers’ evolving lifestyle preferences for beverages with simpler ingredient lists.
“This product, containing premium coffee, fresh milk and zero else, is poised to meet the needs of consumers seeking to moderate their sugar intake on the go, or as an afternoon pick-me-up, without compromising on taste or quality in their coffee choices.”
