Treat yourself to new soft drink options
BRITISH drinks firm Carlsberg Britvic has launched a duo of indulgent Pepsi zero sugar colas with Strawberries ‘N’ Cream and Cream Soda flavours.
Dubbed Pepsi Treats, these new sweet cola treat drinks aim to offer consumers an indulgent drink to pick up as well as provide retailers the chance to recruit more younger shoppers to the cola category.
The new range will be supported by point-of-sale materials and free case promotions, which Carlsberg Britvic said have been designed to create maximum visibility and excitement across channels.
Available now, the new range of drinks come in a wide variety of formats which consist of 500ml price-marked and plain bottles, 330ml single cans, multipacks of eight 330ml cans and, exclusive to Strawberries ‘N’ Cream variant, a 1.5 litres bottle.
This marks the latest piece of flavour innovation from the Pepsi brand, following on from 2024’s developments of Pepsi Electric and Pepsi Max Mango.
Ben Parker, VP sales for off-trade at Carlsberg Britvic, said: “Pepsi brings unique flavours and zero-sugar offerings to retailers’ shelves. This latest launch is an exciting and bold step into the indulgence space and is designed with Gen Z flavour lovers in mind.
“The treat-inspired flavours will entice shoppers with a new experience and help increase sales in a highly competitive category.
“We’ll be working with retailers to help make the launch a success, with the aim of increasing footfall and sales thanks to the product’s distinctive look helping it to stand out on shelves.”
