UK fascia group Nisa has cemented its community support role across the UK with over £1million donated through its charity Making a Difference Locally (MADL).

Over the course of 2024, Nisa said the MADL charity had managed to support over 360,000 people and donated to over 1,340 local causes to support vital initiatives including food pantries, enhancing opportunities for children and providing some much-need winter support.

In addition to MADL’s direct contributions, Nisa colleagues also rallied behind charitable causes during 2024, including raising almost £3,000 for children’s charity Barnardo’s, wrapping 260 presents for the KIXX Christmas appeal and supporting local foodbank efforts.

Notable achievements also included £35,585 raised through 68 different MADL clothing banks, with items from this donated to Middle Eastern and Ukrainian communities in partnership with Oxfam, with a further £28,673 raise from in-store collection tins.

And 2024 also saw the launch of MADL’s inaugural ‘Pink Friday’ day, a celebration of community spirit and retail philanthropy. The initiative contributed to MADL’s growing legacy across communities, which has seen the charity now raise over £18million for local areas since its inception.

Kate Carroll, head of charity at Nisa, said: “Our incredible retailers and colleagues have shown unparalleled dedication and generosity this year. Their efforts have created meaningful change in communities across the UK, and I’m immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together in 2024.

“Here’s to an even brighter and more impactful 2025!”
