Celebration marks pair up of duo RTD brands
SPIRITS giant Diageo has marked the launch of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold and Pepsi Max RTD cans with a celebration at Premier Broadway Convenience Store in Edinburgh.
The event took place on 15 November and saw local consumers in the Oxgangs area, where the store is located, engage in a unique day of celebrations with an in-store experience for the community.
Premier Broadway Convenience Store also marked the only convenience store in Scotland to host this event, making this a truly one-of-a-kind event for the Scottish market.
As part of the celebration, locals were able to head down to the store from midday to pick up free samples of Captain Morgan x Pepsi Max, as well as free grilled chicken and loaded fries from food truck Wee Green Events, with live music from a local DJ.
A resident of the local area said: “I live down the road from the store, and I saw the store’s post on Instagram, so I thought I would come down and see what was happening.
“It’s great to be able to get some delicious free food, try the new Captain Morgan x Pepsi Max drink and have a little dance with friends.”
Diageo said that the event combined a convenience store with all the entertainment and energy of a house party to help boost the launch of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Gold and Pepsi Max RTD cans.
Sophie Williams, retailer at Premier Broadway Convenience Store, said: “We’re so excited to be able to offer events like this to our community. We saw lots of familiar faces and gave them the chance to get their hands on samples of Captain Morgan x Pepsi Max cans.
“We had a great time on the day, celebrating and enjoying the delicious taste of the new ready-to-drink can!”
