YOPLIAT has launched Yop 500g Strawberry to Booker Cash & Carry depots across the UK.
The dairy products firm, known for its expertise in yogurts, has said this will bring the UK’s only drinking yoghurt to independent and convenience retailers nationwide for the very first time.
The flavoured milk category is currently experiencing significant growth, projected to reach a value of £671 million by 2028, according to IRI data. The total category is currently being propelled by the convenience sector, accounting for £262 million in sales and representing 44% of the total market.
Further to this, recent Bulbshare taste tests also revealed that consumers prefer the flavour of Yop over its flavoured milk competitors, highlighting its potential to stand out in this thriving market.
“Yop is unique. It offers a delicious flavour and as it is a yoghurt drink rather than just flavoured milk, it keeps consumers fuller for longer and our 500g format is perfect for on-the-go consumption,” explains Ewa Moxham, head of marketing at Yoplait UK.
Yop Strawberry 500g is ideal for adults and children, has a uniquely smooth texture and is a source of protein, calcium and vitamin D, critical to help children and teenagers build healthy bones.
“We are delighted to be listing Yop Strawberry 500g as it offers our customers a real point of difference and great value for money,” says Hannah Wlodarczyk, category manager (designate) – butters, spreads, yoghurts & desserts at Booker Group.
Yoplait are present in more than 50 countries, and the world’s second largest player in fresh dairy products. We have been pioneers of the dairy category for almost 60 years and launching in the UK in 1991.
Yoplait strives for the access to the nutritional benefits and delicious taste for all.
