Reese’s brings in a festive peanut butter twist
ICONIC peanut butter confectionery brand Reese’s has unveiled its line up for the upcoming Christmas season.
Kicking off this new range of festive treats is the Reese’s DJ Santa Advent Calendar which features a range of mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups – in both original and white varieties – with a full-size White Peanut Butter Cup as well to finish off the countdown on Christmas Eve.
Further to this, each Advent Calendar offers consumers the chance to win from a range of prizes. By scanning a QR code found inside the calendar, shoppers can engage in an interactive claw grab game to reach DJ Santa’s head.
If DJ Santa’s head is filled with peanut butter, the participant wins one of the many prizes up for grabs ranging from DJ Santa’s mixed songs to Reese’s confectionery products.
Beyond this, Reese’s has also tapped into a selection of themed SKUs with a lineup of Reese’s Peanut Butter Trees (£3 RRP), Peanut Butter Cups Selection Box (£3.50 RRP), Peanut Butter Cups Ultimate Selection Box (£6 RRP), Peanut Butter Cups DJ Santa’s Disco Lights (£1.15 RRP), Reese’s White DJ Santa Disco Lights (£1.15 RRP) and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups DJ Santa’s Disco Lights – Milk and White (£1.15 RRP).
The Hershey Company – the firm behind Reese’s – reckons the festive products will make ideal stocking stuffers for this year or as a playful Secret Santa gift for loved ones.
Jackson Hitchon, general manager for Europe and world travel retail, said: “We’re excited to elevate our offering this Christmas with the Reese’s DJ Santa Advent Calendar.
“It’s not just about enjoying our signature combination of milk chocolate and peanut butter – it’s about creating memorable experiences. Reese’s saw its biggest increase in volume (33.6%) and value (35.9%) share change across top 10 chocolate brands during the Christmas season in 2023.
“By offering the chance to win fantastic prizes and engage in fun interactive fames, we’re confident it will become a must-have for anyone looking to add extra joy to their Christmas experience and continue on last year’s success.”
