Checking the festive Squashies twice
SWIZZELS has launched its first ever Christmas-themed Squashies sweets with its new limited-edition Naughty & Nice Squashies.
Rolling out in time for Christmas, the elf-shaped Squashies come in 120g hanging bags with an MRSP of £1.15.
The product features two popular flavours: Strawberry Ice Cream and Apple Pie, and boasts a bright, eye-catching design across the pack to help improve stand out on shelves during the festive season.
Swizzels said it made the move to roll out its first ever Christmas-themed Squashies variant after Circana data for the year to July found the brand to be the number one sugar confectionery brand in the market.
With this in mind, Swizzels reckons it will be able to drive retailers’ sales this year through its new Squashies Naughty & Nice packs and help make the most of the festive season.
Alongside this limited edition roll out, Swizzels has also confirmed its standard Christmas selection will join the Squashies on shelf. This includes its Sweet Shop Advent Calendar, which Circana data also found a remarkable value sales growth for, of 41% year-on-year.
