Flagship gaming promo back for Monster Energy
MONSTER Energy is set to help gamers get back in the action as its flagship Call of Duty promotion returns once again this year.
Live from now until the end of the year, the returning Call of Duty promotion is running across more of the range than ever before, says Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP). This will include individual cans and multipacks of Monster Original, Monster Zero Sugar, Absolute Zero, Ultra White, Ultra Rosa, Juiced Mango Loco and Pipeline Punch.
Gaming fans across all console platforms – including PlayStation, Xbox and PC – will be able to make use of the promotion by scanning the unique QR codes found on specific packs of Monster Energy or by entering codes found under the ring pulls.
Doing so will unlock exclusive in-game content including Double XP tokens as well as unique operator skins and gear that will help Call of Duty gamers to level up faster and customise their look while playing online matches in the game.
Promotional packs will also feature striking designs straight from the video game series including the Cerberus Logo, inspired by a prominent in-game feature, the Wolf King as well as iconic Call of Duty character Ghost in a bid to capture shoppers’ attention and enhance the in-store experience for the promotion.
Convenience retailer can also request the high-impact POS materials from My.CCEP.com as well to further drive up awareness of the promotion across the store.
All of this comes as the massive video game series is set to launch the latest game in the series Black Ops 6, which will roll out across online and gaming stores from 25 October.
To help draw further attention to the returning promotion, CCEP has said there will be an impressive roster of gaming athletes on video game streaming platforms Twitch and YouTube to help shout out about the Monster Energy collaboration. There will also be a range of high-profile media partnerships.
The returning partnership further builds on a massive year for the Monster brand which has seen the roll out of new flavours including Monster Energy Juiced Bad Apple as well as its latest two launches of Monster Nitro Cosmic Peach and Ultra Strawberry Dreams.
Rob Yeomans, VP for commercial development at CCEP GB, said: “Gaming continues to be a huge and fast-growing part of the global entertainment industry – in which Monster has been a major player for over two decades – and Call of Duty continues to capture gamers’ attention.
“We’re always looking to reward our loyal Monster fans with unmissable experiences, and our on-pack promotion and partnership with Call of Duty is the perfect way to do this.
“We’re encouraging retailers to get on board and take full advantage of this promotion as we bring together these two iconic brands once again.”
