Double Shot’s new look fires on all cylinders
MAJOR cocktail brand Funkin Cocktails has elevated its higher ABV range of drinks Double Shot with a new design across its cans.
Aiming to enhance appeal with customers in time for the brand’s 25th anniversary year, the newly designed Double Shot cans look to tap into the demand for higher ABV cocktail options in the RTD market.
As such, the Funkin Double Shot range comes with the ABV of 14% per serve with two variants to choose from including Passion Fruit Margarita and Pineapple Daiquiri.
The new design across the packs help to show off the product name, ABV and flavour clearly for consumers to see, helping to increase awareness for the range as well as encouraging purchase, says Funkin.
Both 140ml cans come with an RRP of £3.50, helping to cement the Double Shot options from Funkin as more premium RTD cocktail drink for consumers to choose, complete with the bar-strength quality of the drinks.
The drinks are currently available in Tesco and Sainsbury’s stores from now, with the refreshed packaging rolling out into stores later this year.
Ben Anderson, marketing director of Funkin Cocktails, said: “This packaging refresh is not just about aesthetics; it’s about aligning our product with the evolving expectations of today’s consumers.
“We’ve focused on creating a design, informed by insights to cater to this audience and set us apart in a crowded market. This means a premium, gender-neutral offering, to appeal to a discerning audience who values quality and sophistication in their drink choices.
“We know that shoppers are increasingly looking for bar-quality experiences at home, and the enhanced visibility of key product details like the 14% ABV ensures this is clear at first glance so they know to expect an elevated cocktail experience.
“Our distinct flavours – Pineapple Daiquiri and Passion Fruit Margarita – continue to tap into this audience, too, as twists on classic serves are increasingly popular, especially for those looking to impress when hosting friends and family.”
