Hollywood actor and model Jamie Dornan has been announced as the new brand ambassador for Diet Coke to build on the brand’s ‘This Is My Taste’ campaign.

HOLLYWOOD actor Jamie Dornan has been announced as the new brand ambassador for Diet Coke.

Building on the brand’s legacy of working with world-famous talent, with previous brand ambassadors including the likes of Kate Moss and Taylor Swift, the Irish movie star will kick off the new partnership with a new TV ad in October this year.

Dornan will use the new Diet Coke ‘This Is My Taste’ campaign to help shine a spotlight directly on fans and encourage them to embrace their own unique tastes and personal hobbies.

To do so, the new ad featuring Dornan will reveal the actor’s own love of cold-water swimming, complete with a “cheeky Diet Coke twist” says The Coca-Cola Company.

Joined by a wider cast of characters, from festival-goers to fancy dressers and experimental chefs, the new ad will celebrate everyone’s bold self-expressions, according to Coca-Cola.

As a further part of this personal campaign, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners launched a new campaign featuring personalised Diet Coke cans with names on them.

Speaking on his appointment, Dornan said: “I’m really pleased to join the Diet Coke family. The ‘This Is My Taste’ campaign resonated with me instantly as it reminds us all to take moments for ourselves to do whatever makes us happy.

“Especially if that includes taking a break in your day to drink a Diet Coke whilst lounging on a unicorn floatable.”
